Canning council is working on an activation project for Queens Park and would love representatives from our senior’s club to be involved and give us your ideas!

The Council will host a Neighbourhood Walk and meeting for Queens Park Stakeholders (sporting groups, community groups, community leaders, businesses, religious organisations etc.) Saturday 18 January. All participants will be provided with a free lunch and snacks, and a monetary voucher for a local business. This walk is to understand the main priorities for Queens Park stakeholders within the suburb and to discuss ideas for quick win infrastructure/events and larger aspirational visions that the City can consider moving forward. There will be opportunities within the coming year to implement the quick win ideas and look at some innovative ways to create a vibrant and welcoming Queens Park community.

Now is the chance for us to have our say and what we would like to happen in our suburb.

If any member wishes to attend and participate please notify one of our committee members before 15 January 2020. This is for catering purposes.
